'It's Fake' Videostill from a 3 minute video (2017)

An interpretation of Piet Mondrians' last masterpiece, The Victory Boogie Woogie, taken into account that Mirjam not only played with Lego, but also with the spirit of time and perspective.

The original painting was ofcourse abstract and 2D. Mirjam imagined it was Mondrians' view from above, which flattens the original 3D view. She imagined him standing on one of the highest skysrapers in Manhattan, changing the original colours of city life into primary ones.

The video has been played at the Wallhouse #2 in Groningen and melklokaal Heerenveen in 2017
